This piece is inspired by a temple I drive past every day—flipped upside down and patterned like a waffle ice cream cone. Atop sits a chocolate-vanilla swirl, melting, leaking, and pouring through the cracks.
Food was the beginning of our destruction. From Eve’s temptation in the garden to Jesus’ temptation in the desert, it has always been a test of discipline and desire. Will you continue to let food dominate you?
